When the weather clears around here, I can post pics of the real kit uninstalled if anyone wishes to see them
I want to see it installed, and where did you buy it from? I didn't think they put veilside logos on each part that many times, because when a friend of mine bought his kit (direct from veilside) they put the veilside logo on the bottom of all, then a raised logo on the rear bumper where licence plate goes.

I bought my kit directly from veilside, Ray told me cause of the modification and the wait on the kit that no one really ever ordered it and that only 3 or 4 kits have come in the country so far and he believed they went to a shop. I can take multiple pics of my kit but, until I have the money to install it it's gotta sit in storage

so technically, since it is not THE veilside kit its not a veilside kit. i believe you have the AIT racing veilside STYLE kit which is really designed for the scion xb not toyota bb. the reason why the rear bumper doesnt fit perfectly is not because its "obviously designed" for the toyota bb, its because its a cheaper kind of body kit. as the saying goes, you get what you pay for.

nobody said anything negetive about you so you dont have to take it out on anyone.

seems to me like somebody else needs to grow up.

It's still rainy around here right now, but as soon as it clears up I'll take some pics, I originally went to a body shop in the Virginia Beach area and getting the kit painted fitted and molded on they said it would be around $1500, Then Ray from VS mentioned someone to hook me up with JDM parts. I spoke with this guy and he grabbed the bB 1st gen bumpers for me and they're being freighted here now. The bumpers extra cost was $1000, but they do come prepainted in my scions color, so I would assume the perfect fitment of these pieces would lower the price at the shop, as well as make the kit look cleaner, but I have not gone back for a quote yet since I'm low on money for the time being.

20inchBOX, I in no means ment to offend you if I did, i just assumed from your post you had the original kit and was curious of how it looked since I'm still waiting to put mine on. I've also never claimed to be VIP, my car is my daily driver, and soon I will have no badges on my car scion or bB, just a blue veilside rock emblem on the front in the middle of my upper grille.

not to bring up dead post, but i have a second gen JDM bB rear lip and had no problems fitting that besides moving exhaust

if you can, just try to find a second gen kit (this is to anyone, not particular) and you should have little to no problems.

Now that looks more like it. Have you tried test fitting yet or just going to wait?

just gonna wait till I have the cash to throw it on, as soon as my 1st gen bumpers get here (crossing my fingers it'll be the beginning of this week) I'm going to see how the kit aligns with those. Will take more pics when they get here if anyones interested.

it shouldnt be that part overall to get it on if you got the gen 1 bumpers and can do some wrenching.

overaell opinion: that kit is ugly as sin IMHO, and I think the rear needs to be trashed . bleh. id love to see it though to see if yours turns out any good. yours would be the first and only i think!

Most kits don't look that great until its on the car and painted if you think about it. This should turn out great providing whoever installs does it correctly.
