Default beefier door handles?

Does anyone else find the stock door handles just a little, well...cheap?

Has anyone found a way to add a little meat to the undersides? Hopefully it'd be easier to grip and have less of a cheap *slap* after someone lets one go.

I don't think the problem is with the side door handles.
It's the POS Rear Hatch Handle many people have problems with.
It's Poorly Designed and not made to bear the weight of the entire hatch if
you use it a lot. It's a cheap plastic handle held by 4 screws that WILL
break off in time and cost you a $100 a pop.

That reminds me, I do need to tighten the hatch handle. And yea, I've been trying to be very gentle with it.

I haven't looked. I don't have problem with mine. They are living up to my expectations. I think that nowadays even more expensive cars still have "cheap" plastic door handles.

OTOH, my 84 Caddy has solid metal door handles!
