i think im pretty much done with it. btw, hahajoey's box is the perfect example of building a clean car that is original with a few quality parts vs. throwing $$$ at your car and buying every single part they sell, then slapping stickers all over it to make it " custom" but it looks like every other ricer. MAD PROPS! props to bbist too! now thats how to build a custom show car!

Great looking cars everyone, I enjoy looking through this post every few days to see what's cooking.
Ok--on the subject about all these people slinging words back and forth--I honestly think some of us are just a little too serious about their cars, and really need to relax. It's a vehicle that takes you from pt. A to pt. B in the end--not how many "JDM" items you have attached to it! Unless you are fixing up your car for someone elses pleasure--why are you worried about what others think anyway?
I respect people that respect the scion scene, and don't do things to disgrace it. Honestly, the entire state of the community has gone down the drain as of late...and trust me, I can say that since i've been around since day 1. When someone goes to the point to get bent out of shape over their taillights coming from a different country that's not Japan--that's when you know it's getting just a tad bit ridiculous, don't you think?
My point is, everyone needs to relax a little, these cars are what brought us together as a community, and egos and big heads are what are driving people apart.

i think jdm and the word scion are way over played here in the states with our xb's... everything that people see in the "bible" seems to be japanese because their local idiot toyota dealer doesn't stock these parts or neither does their local clear corner "tuner" shop.. because all shops these days are effin special order for every part you need....
People that own scions really need to pick up some performance mags or look further into the "jdm" scene... im so tired of people saying their angel eyes are jdm when they have their effin green underglow on at a local meet....
Most people would label my car as "jdm" ... but i still have rota's on it... maybe jdm is a name ballah game, with name brand parts.... to me, jdm isn't meant as something from japan anymore... its meant as you having a car with oem parts that not many or the "crowd" have or sport...
anyways, im just tired of seeing every scion on the street sporting "bb" when half the ___ hats don't even know what it is...
And i thought the honda scene jdm stuff was ___.... it makes me respect my honda "heads" as we have seen our years and gone through all this "new/nonsense" already and its only the new people getting into the scene that are causing the mix-ups... no matter what, we all are still learning.

and fsr20det... i think your box is very clean also....
