Thats true.... im tired of seeing people talking how JDM there car is and its not even close... But whats pretty funny is when people ask me for JDM parts for there TC lol

 

haha thats pretty good cassidy. i had a guy ask me about how he could make his Tiburon JDM. i told him it was Korean and he should leave it the hell alone.

kinda bothers me when people stick bB badges on their car, and still have the Scion emblem there? anyone else?

when i first got my xB, i wanted to get the badges.
but if i knew i couldnt turn my xB into a bB...i left it.

 

^ yep i agree. bB are about as tacky as Type r badges people put on their obvious USDM Ex Civic. I think its stupid. its not a bB, why imitate?

 

i take bb different... as there is no performance difference unless you are rocking all wheel..... its basically the same thing.... type r ek's in japan are far different then cx ek's in the states.... big big difference... just like saying and rsx "isnt an integra" it is.....

 

yea. i agree.. putting a bB badge is just plain trendy.
but u aint faking the funk..
putting a civic type-r badge on a cx civic is faking the funk..
putting a V6 emblem on your camry LE so it looks more
"deluxe" is also faking the funk.

i see no shame in a bB badge, i had one on at one point.

Yeah, me have the same thinking as you, I cannot turn my Toyota bB into a Scion, so I left my bB badges on.....

Two are parking decal, one for the office and the other for the home... one is a road tax disc, one decal is from the car service workshop and one of the decal is of the Lifesaving Society.

Funny thing is that my registration and insurance info lists my car as a Toyota. I put a bB front badge on because it is smaller and square like the car. Truely the only reason we are not driving bB's is because Toyota had to come up with the SCION name to import more cars. Just like Lexus, many of the cars are just versions of a Toyota model. I'm not into that JDM thing I just quality items for my car. Some of these so called JDM parts are junk and not the least bit tasteful. Last scion show I went to made me aware of how many ill fitting and terrible looking parts there are out there to avoid.

hahhaaa.... but there are really some guys doing some trading... in the Club IST here, they are trading airbags with the SoCal guys.... this is so that the SoCal guys could have the Toyota emblem on their steering and the Singapore IST can have the Scion emblems......

If you could send me your headlights, while you are driving your other car, I will dismantle mine and send it to you... I can't do it first bcos this is my only car and I need her for transport every day...

They made the car look different, my further plans is to buy the billet grills for the two lower openings....
