Default Bike racks guru

I did some searching, but I still havn't found what i was looking for.

I'm planning to buy a bike rack, preferably the one that you have to take off the front wheels. I'm leaning towards the steelhead. I own two vintage beach cruiser, 1959 amf and 1964 schwinn. I'm not sure if the old style frame will be compatible with the bike rack. Can anyone chime in to help?

If you use something that locks the fork rather than the frame, it should work with anything.

^x2 i searched how a 1964 schwinn looked like, it looks similar to most beach cruisers made today. I doubt you'll have any trouble hauling your bikes on a bike rack. I say go with a fork that locks on to the front wheel just to be sure. One can be purchased from either yakima or thule brand racks.

i had the same problem...couldn't find anything for my huge schwinn beach cruiser so i had a hitch welded and bought a Yakima rack. i had a Gen 1 and maybe a configuration like mine would work for you. Good Luck.
