Aight people, we got new shoes. Worth the wait
First things first. these wheels are 17x7.5 with a 45 offset so they need additonal spacing to clear the rear suspension arm... so we needed some of these beauties-
OneTonGarage 10mm billet shims

My main man J.G. and I threw them on in about an hour. Not as easy as I imagined because it's a bit tricky to line up the holes to insert the extended bolts, no big wup.
J.G. in action

I ended up going with the Fuzion ZRi's in 215/45 (Thanx to Scott at Port Orange Firestone for the hookup...) They were only a tad more than the HRi's and definitely look the buisness... so far they feel way better than the plastic Nankangs I was running before. Very quiet. The additional aspect ratio absorbs jolts better, and fills the wheel wells out more.
Sorry for the crappy pix, it was raining all day today... will have some better ones up soon. It's a little low in the rear because the old wheels/tires and a ton of schoolbooks are in the back...

I absolutely LOVE these rims, They're in my top 10 alltime fave wheels designs. I know they're Advan knockoffs, but I actually like them better. Plus they weigh only 1 pound more than the origionals and cost me around $2000 less '
'
Closeup of the mp3's and red lugs-

I feel the offset and width of these is just about perfect, without trimming fender liners or anything like that. Might try some 5mm's in the rear, but it's pretty tight back there as it is...
Check the slight stretch on the Fuzions-

The MP3 comes with red trim rings that cover the lug holes... After seeing the setup without the rings tho I actually like em better that way. Also, the rings themselves are easy to break, several tabs snapped off the back of this one already...

Well that's this installment. More bits are on the way...
