bsp waxing
I have a BSP - 2 yrs. old and it looks better today (except for the road chips) than it did when I picked it up from the dealer. and I live in sunny AZ. why? protection/ polish/ wax and care.
this is the only site you need: http://www.adamspolishes.com/videos/
I use his products, but I used Mothers for the first 1 1/2 yrs.. I use my hand to apply the wax and a micro fiber to wax off. I only use clean micro fiber towels on the car. Wally world has some - 8 to a pack for $4 - you can reuse them if you wash them. after a season, I'll go get a new pack. use car soap and only a good mit or micro fiber towel to wash.
always remember, anyone can wash a car and get it wet. the key is good drying - especially on BSP. take more time drying and go easy on it. I love Adam's spray detailer to dry. use two towels to dry w/ one always dry and the other wet.
follow his videos. I have always washed/ clayed/ rinsed/ dryed and waxed per his method. you won't fail and there's nothing to fear.

^^ Also check out http://www.autopia.org/ Great site, lots of tips. They have a DIY for everything from chips, to scuffs, to clay, to polish, to washing and drying. I personally use Meguires Gold Class Car Conditioner Car Wash, with a microfiber bone, microfiber towel, and a smooth surface prep kit for the clay bar, and Meguires Gold Class Carnuba Wax
