Do not get them.

You cannot remove them everytime it rains. You have to go to work, and leave your car out, and it will dry in the day.

Your paint will get ruined.

You have been warned.

 

gotta use the road trip only rule: on for the drive, off when u get there. And only if the weather permits

 

I commute 2 hours every day in traffic with construction equipment. I needed it.

 

I got a colgan. Used it for a trip to Miami from Orlando. On the way back it rained. When I took it off in Orlando I noticed the paint had actually rubbed off where it clips in front of the front tires......my poor RS3. So even if you use a car bra, put painters tape wherever it clips.

If you buy a bra I can't sat it enough Stay Away From LeBra They really do SUCK!!!! Sorry about that but if you make the mistake like I did trying to save money and ending up regretting my diction the hood part would flap at highway speeds the stupid thing is just so cheap in materials it scratched my paint and good luck trying to get your money back or even for them to answer an email. Any ways if you get a bra Get a Clear bra or a Colgan bra.

I'm hoping it's just water in the clearcoat.

 

It was water in the paint. I washed with too hot water on a cold day. It's almost back to normal now.

 

what exactly is painters tape, my first thought was regular masking tape, please enlighten me, thanks.

 

Blue in color, usually fairly wide. Easy to put on, comes off with no residue.

 

I would not recommend regular masking tape. Painters tape is more money but it wont leave any residue or hurt your finish.
