Hey Everyone,

I've been looking for a nice carbon fiber front lip for some time. Online, the only one I'm able to locate is a carbon wrapped stock lip for $400. Thats too much money imo.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

 

BBist sells one, but I think there is a waiting list. But, I here the cftype one that retails for $400 is really nice.

 

Think the carbon pieces will hold up to road debris like rocks and bugs better than the stock lip?

 

Hard to say, I have little experience with CF, the only advantage of the stock lip is that it is urethane so it can bend to accomadate an impact (but, I have heard our bumpers are fairly flimsy and porr quality, although the cF probably wont give much I would assume it would be strong. Then again every cf lip I have seen for the xb is wraped. The cftype one is nice becasue I belive the lip underneath is abs).

The only thing w/ that kit is the side skirts are supposed to have horrible fitment. I actually had that front lip (but not in CF and it didnt fit right either, I couldnt put in the lower side vent peice w/ this front lip).

 

ABS Dynamics sells a CF lip for 270...
