Cracked Front Bumper

Cracked Front Bumper
I ran into a big ice chunk and this was the result...
What options do I have, can this be repaired or do I need to try to find a new bumper. Also, does any one have price estimates of repair or a replacement? Thanks!!!

sorry to hear about your slight ice accident, at least it is a slight damage.
I had a similar crack on my scion TC bumper, around the passanger side, fog light (VRD).
I took it my friend shop and he was able to reglue it back together. My crack was bigger, it ran from the fog light area, up to the the middle of bumper, under the passanger side head lamp (running right to left towards the top grill). I was told that as long as there are no pieces missing from the bumper, it can be fix.
Its preaty cool how they do it, they drill holes on both side of the crack, kinda looks like a shoe, then the glue they use, kinda ties it all up, then sand, prime and repaint.
I may also recomend a lip kit. I had a crack before, under the driver side fog light (VRD) and a lip hid it perfectly, didnt have to repair it, and I got a tasteful mod. all i did was put tape on it to prevent the crack from getting bigger.
anyway good luck.

Well, the easiest, and probably the least expensive way to fix this is to glue this with a PLastic bumper repair kit (which is glue). Then, like cingham said, theres always plastic welding that you can do, but I doubt you have that iron to melt the plastic so buying one would end up costing more than the gluerepair kit. But that is a pretty big crack, if you have a buddy that has a bodyshop, might be best to let him do it for best results
And as for prices, the bodyshop here where I work would probably do that for about 250 to 350 with paint and everything included. ANyways, thats probably how much I'd charge lol, there's maybe an hour of repair to do plus maybe an hour tops to apply primer and sand then another hour maybe for the paint.
