i get flashed at by women all the time....j/k. but i've been flashed by oncoming traffic a lot. i guess it's the height and placement of our headlights. hmmmm...

The headlights in the xB are a bit higher than usual, but if people would stop looking at headlights and look at the road maybe they wouldn't notice how bright they are.

I honestly think it has to do with the placement of the lights.

i get this crap all the time, it is because the xB headlights are higher than most cars, so it is close to direct line on eyesight for lower cars

Default Flashed all the time..........Flashing back too !!

I have been getting flashed a lot myself.

It's got to be the height of the fixtures and there adjustment. I thought about playing with them a bit and see if i can imporve the front vision without loosing the foward vision. this should bring them down just a bit.......I'll see what happens and post the results.

I did this on another vehicle once ........i parked close to my garage door and marked the cut off line on the door and adjusted them and went out.....but they were good so i didn't have to run them back to the marks i had on the door........Now i got to paint the darn garage door !!!

see ya !!

I did it.......The new Cool Blues are in the car and i did the adjustment and they look great .....No Flashing of high beams from the oncoming cars since. I hope this is it.

The road is lighted much brighter and with that cool blue look. I haven't seen the car coming toward me at night yet. hope to make that happen soon to see if it looks as good as i think it should.........see ya !!

same problem, same solution, at least then they feel like idiots when you flash them back.

I had a scary incident related to this driving through new mexico at night once. A truck from the right lane pulled right up behind me as I was passing him and a semi. I went up to 90 trying to get into the right lane to let him pass me -but he followed me right into the right lane, and I mean he was right on my tail, dangerously, and then he flicks his bright on and tailgates me for about 5 miles...in the right lane he could have easily passed me. I was behind him quite a while before I passed him and the semi, so maybe he thought he was returning the favor of blinding me.

scariest damn thing I've ever had happen while driving, stuff liek you see in the movies or something...damn lights

I usually get flashed a lot when I'm out in the 'country'.

I just flash them back and wish I had the 8 150W KC daylighters off of my old samurai to really show them what bright was...

not many street lights where i live, so everyone drives with high beams on... gonna be so glad to actually have BRIGHT lights to shine back at them (they never turn them off if a car is coming at them from the opposite direction, ____es me off)

When I first read this thread I was dubious that people were flashing their brights more than usual...but it has happened now to me at least four times. I enjoy putting my brights on in response.

I thought I was going nuts this weekend; probably half of the cars that passed me going the opposite way on a two-lane country road flashed me. I thought there was something wrong with the car. Glad to know it isn't me.

I get flashed quite a bit as well. I wasn't sure if people thought my lights weren't on or if they were thinking my highs were on. I guess I know the answer now. I just usually flash them back and watch the surprised look on their faces lol
