Engine Bay CLean up ideas
Doug -- Make sure you have a friend there to help. It takes 4 hands and you'll
need all 4 of them. Also you'll need 2 sawhorses and heavy blankets to set the
hood on. Go slowly and double check everything before you begin. Tape -- you'll
need tape to help protect the underside of the hood from being scratched. That
was my mistake
Sorry I don't have any in the progress of the install pic's.

Placing the hood panel was the most time consuming. At first it looked like the
predrilled holes were off , but after some carefull measuring and eyeballing the
panel went just fine. Make sure to lay some tape down around the areas where
the panel will touch the hood so as not to scratch the paint when installing it. I
now have to do a little paint touchup
but it's not real bad. I still haven't had
the time to modify the firewall piece so it will fit around the strut bar and that piece
looks even more difficult to install. the instruction don't include pic's and seem
quite vague but we'll figure it out.
Also I think I would reroute the washer fliud lines after drilling the holes needed
to secure the panel to the hood not before like the instructions state.

I take it you did the hood mirror and the panel that goes around it?? Was the mirror itself hard to install? And, what actually holds the mirror onto the hood? Thanks!!

Sorry to keep you waiting... I've been busy spending time with the trophy I won this weekend for best exterior. (grin)
The thing is I had the camera out last night and forgot. I'll try and get some pics done tonight for you. I'll leave a message on my home phone for myself.
