Ok guys I got my kit in today and got everything installed except the hood piece. I need to make some adjustments on the firewall piece, but other than that I think it turned out great.

What do you think??

Thanks
Not sure what you mean by "cleaning up" the engine compartment? To clean the engine compartment I use Simple Green then just hose it down to rinse. Makes it clean as new.

dugzillaxb, It's a nice concept but you cover all the details up with all that metal. Not my cup of tea.

Looks good, Doug! They did a nice job on your 'DUGZILLA' too!

Now you need to get in there and keep those few OEM parts still visible all polished up.

(Cant wait to see this in person.)

jethro_b that is exactly what I wanted to do. All I want to see when I open the hood is brushed stainless steel. I have the AEM CAI coming that will fill in the gap between the engine shroud and the battery.

Man, you should just take the hood off and drive it like that! OR use the hood liner with the Scion logo for a hood.

I'm thinking Plexi hood... :D

(Or at least a window set into the hood... and some really nice indirect lighting in the engine bay.)

Back wwhen I used to work in a restaurant, we had spray cans of an industrial stainless steel
polish that was used to wipe down all the stainless every night. It left a really good looking sheen
on the stainless and protected it from anything sticking with a light wax-like coat that you couldn't
really SEE, but made the stainless super slick. Wish I still had a can of that so I could tell you the
brand. It was great stuff for keeping stainless looking good. came in a whight and light blue spray
can.

Thats pretty sweet. I like the under the hood thing but I'm not really fan of the rest, mainly because you can see the other parts and theres a big contrast. But whatever flaots your boat =)
