Fog lights
I bought the OEM foglights from ebay, it comes with the switch and the housing and the bulbs.
I found the harness that goes to the switch behind my panel and it hooked right up, i also hooked up and installed all the fog lights and housings but nothing turns on still, anyone else do the conversion and do anything different?
my only thinking is that I have HID's and the new HID harness is bypassing the old HL harness and perhaps the foglights get power from the HL harness? i have to get my voltage tester out and see what I can find i guess,
yes i have all the fuses lol.

The installation manual (link above) shows where the relay goes. Try autoparts store. It's a standard relay that is also used for horn, headlights, etc on practically all later Toyota cars.

Ok, i was thinking I had to wire the whole stupid relay, been there done that with my lowrider s10 i had, relays everywhere lol.
so here is what I came up with,
here is a link showing Xb fogs and a relay
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Scion...item45e95df1c2
it shows i need relay 90987- 02027
when i search that relay part number i come up with http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/RELAY...item2a0892fb94
does this look kosher? I am eager to make my 60$ fogs actually work hahaha

The ebay one says its used
Toyota part # shows #90080-87026

You can find one from an auto parts store for less just ask for a replacement relay for that Toyota part.

I called the auto stores in my area and the relays were all 20$ or more. I ordered that one on ebay, I honestly don't think the used ones will be that big a of a problem with how much the fogs will even be on. From what I read the relays have multiple part numbers to track some kind of statistics for toyota, I guess we will find out lol. Its the exact part number for the one that comes WITH that fog light kit so my fingers are crossed hahaha Thanks for all the help dudes and or dudettes.

I bought one of the OEM kits off ebay that seem to be pretty plentiful on there, if you look at the PDF thats posted in this thread you can see, there is no bracketry really, there is just a couple of caps that go on the posts of the back of the housing that literally just stick through a hole in the front bumper cover.

They are not little caps they lock your fogs into the bumper so they don't come out, if the e-bay ones don't have them you will need them.
