Good to know. One of my bulbs just burnt out this morning, so this would be a good time to get a different color.

I noticed the ground wire is tricky with these kits.
QUESTION: I need to replace my bulbs, my headlights are a 10,000k HID kit and I wanna match my fogs as close as possible, without going HID. Any color or brand suggestions??

I just installed mine over the weekend and it came out great. If you can get a dremel, do so. I used a drill and put a few scuffs on the lip!
But the fog lights cover most of them so no worries.
My problem is the rocker switch. I spend two hours yesterday going to 3 different Lowe's, two Home Depot's, Pep Boys and a Checkers. I cannot find the GSW-45 anywhere! Any ideas? Should I just keep looking?! I saw a few online but they seem to be charging more for them + shipping costs. Please help so this project can be completed, lol.

I actually was just able to get them (bought three, lol). Cripe Distributing shows the quantity in stock on their site as zero but if you call them, the girl (Stacy I think her name was) and ask nicely, she will go look in the warehouse for you. Im stoked. $1.25 a piece plus shipping. Now what to do with the other two, lol?

Go to scionpartspeople.com Best prices on everything they carry, by far.
I got the entire foglight package for my 2006 xB from them. It had everything I needed. No jury rigging necessary.

I have bought from Scionpartspeople.com:
- the Scion manufacturer's fog lights.($76.56 plus about $16.00 shipping, from Washington State to SW Florida). I followed the instructions and had absolutely no difficulties installing them myself. Included all parts, with switch and relay. Can't see why anyone would mess with the Ebay or Brand-X lights.
- the Spoiler
- Yakama Roof Rack
- Front End Mask
- Rear Bumper Applique
- Cargo Liner
- Floor Mats, front and rear.
- Cargo Mat
- tail light garnish
- Scion license plate frame
- Center arm rest
- Door sill enhancements, front
- Cargo Net
- Cargo tote
- Cargo cover.

I bought my fog lights and kit fro Scionpartspeople.com The manufacturer's original Scion Fog Lights fit into the knock out already there. I was able to reach up and push it out by laying on the ground and extending my arm up, using a little wooden mallet.
Easily released the male plug from the wiring harness and plugged it into the lights. Snapped the lights into place (with adapter provided) They fill and seal the opening. No cutting, no sawing.
Inside I removed glove box and lower section of center of dashboard, found the male plug for the switch, attached the plug and snapped the switch into place in the blank provided on the dashboard. Then removed the plastic cover from below the steering wheel, located the fuse box / relays, moved relay blank, snapped the relay into place and buttoned it all up.
After reattaching the negative battery cable, I adjusted the aim of the headlights as per instructions. Done.
Only tools needed were a Philips and a flat bladed screwdriver. I am 66 with arthritis and did the entire job is a little over an hour, in the parking lot of my condo.
My lights look better than the Walmart or Ebay after market lights without all of hassle with the wiring work and searching for switches. And I paid less than the Ebay costs for the OEM lights.

REVIVE!!!
I am about to buy a HID kit for these fog lights, has anyone done this before? I am slightly worried about a melting problem among other things, so any feedback would be much appreciated.

I am wondering about the fitment not the burning, as HIDs are brighter but run cooler than halogens
HIDs will glare because they are not designed to be used in traditional reflective housings, you might want to look for some projector fogs.
I'm getting tired of the uselessness of the factory fogs and am thinking about putting fogs in the bottom grill. Would it look ok to leave the factory ones installed, maybe even wire them up together, or should remove them and put in the inserts?
