Default Front end mask? (xB)

Hi.

I'd like to know if there are any downsides to having a front end mask on my scion xB. I'd like to get one to reduce rock chips, etc. But I recall what a bedliner did to my old truckbed. Water got trapped under there and it got all rusty and ruined the heck out of it. I was wondering if the same thing could happen to the front end of my xB by installing a mask.

Thanks for your replies!

I have purchased the front end mask from Scion about two months ago. It takes less then a minute to install and less time to remove. When it rains I take it off. After the car is washed it goes back on. Just keep a good coat of wax under it and make sure you take it off when wet . :D

You can also do the clear front end mask, which is actually adhered to the front of the car, usually it is a 3M product. The good part is nothing can get behind to ruin your paint, bad part is it doesn't come off. We have done quite a few cars plus I have a xB here on the lot with it on if you want to see what it looks like. Good luck! :D

There is a LeBra that fits the xB. Here are links to the LeBra pages (with photos) on my website: http://www.allscion.com/lebra.html

DO NOT BUY A LE BRA MASK!!!! these do not fit tight at all and when you try to stretch them tight they tear and rub the paint. I have had 2 of them no f@#king good want a great bra (2 piece) get a Colgan Bra. They are thicker, padded, and fit tight. they can be found on the web at several different suppliers or directly through colgan
