Default Getting the hood repainted...

I have a really big issue with my hood. Looks like someone set something down on it that had jagged edges and then pulled it across. I've tried removing the scratches myself but no products seem to be working. I'm wondering if this could possibly be repaired? And if not, repainted? Has anyone had their hood repainted? How much was it? Black Sand Pearl... Help please?

Having a bodyshop repaint the hood will cost about $300-400. This assumes that the hood isn't dented or really really badly scratched which would add a little more to the cost. The materials alone will cost about $130 of this total (altho there should be 1/2 pint of more basecoat color left over..1 pint is usually minimum mix quantity...you paid for it btw get the left over if you can so you can use it later).

good to know...i took it to a well known paint and body guy in my area today and he said he could buff them out for $35 because they are not bad at all. so i think i ended up getting off cheap..lol.
