Default Grommet holes

I am looking for ideas on how make the effect of having grommet holes on the side of my box. These are the holes in the sides of the Chuck Taylor shoes (air vents for your feet). I was thinking originally of going with just graphics, but I think I want to go more realistic. I was thinking maybe fiberglass and double sided tape. Just lookin' for ideas and if I do do fiberglass, anybody willing to do it? They would be small. Thanks.

Go to your local Buick dealership and order a set of "port holes." They have been a Buick staple for years. Different models have different shapes and sizes. Most of them are elliptical (oval) in shape. The new Buick Lucerne has some pretty cool trapezoidal shaped port holes. The last generation Park Avenue had elliptical ones.

If you really want to be "ghetto" about it, I think they sell stick on versions as well. You can probably find them at an auto parts store, or ebay.
