Halo Removal from Sonars
searched but to no avail. im thinking about taking the halos out of my Sonars. Im just wondering if anybody has done it, or had any experience baking Sonars.
Any comments/suggestions are welcome

Yea, the only risk is baking the LEDs to the point where they don't work, but if you're pulling them, shouldn't matter.
BTW, if you're going to do this, do a writeup. I'd love to see the guts of those halos. I wanna swap the LEDs with some superfluxes.

I did it w/my sonars.
Heat gun & 2 screwdrivers work wonders.
the halos are connected via 2 screws, and are easy to take out.
underneath the halos is finished, so the look good.
I painted mine from chrome to black for ____s and giggles.
