searched but to no avail. im thinking about taking the halos out of my Sonars. Im just wondering if anybody has done it, or had any experience baking Sonars.

I'm not sure what they'd look like without em. They can be baked.
225 degrees for 10 minutes should do it.

Yea, the only risk is baking the LEDs to the point where they don't work, but if you're pulling them, shouldn't matter.

BTW, if you're going to do this, do a writeup. I'd love to see the guts of those halos. I wanna swap the LEDs with some superfluxes.

You could try it. PM burxbox. His sonars are colormatched, so he had to remove the lens at some point.

I did it w/my sonars.
Heat gun & 2 screwdrivers work wonders.
the halos are connected via 2 screws, and are easy to take out.
underneath the halos is finished, so the look good.
I painted mine from chrome to black for ____s and giggles.

I'm gonna do mine soon. You can grind down that little hump on the cutoff plate so its dead level.

Took mine apart last night and what a bunch of crap. My projectors are all charred and coroded on the inside. Time for some new headlights I guess.
