yeah i did it myself, you have to take apart the front end and just bolt it up did it in about an hour or so.

 

paint it, but if its cf let it show

 

its going to get painted! but i have to wait because i might do a full paint job soon.

Torch, that looks great. I have what looks like the same kit. I'm going to test fit it without painting because the factory color is exactly the same bronze as my Motegi wheels. If I don't like that look, I'll pull 'em and paint 'em.

hey what did you all do with that plastic splash guard on the bottom? i tried to mount it with zip ties but you can hear it like flapping in the wind when im driving. any help?"

 

yep, yep. i know whats you're talkin bout. before i could tie wrap mine, my front wheel swallowed one of the plastic splash guard! oh well...
just try to tie wrap through the holes in the plastic splash guard to the frame or any non-moving part. you may have to use longer tie wrap or put two together to reach those hard to reach area.
also, does your 2 end caps fit properly to your new lip?

 

no neither one fits well at all

 

i lost mine, but i backtrack & located them later. what i ended up doing was, i drilled a hole through the End Caps & the backing. then i slipped a black round head bolt & tightened it w/ a nut. this way you won't lose them while you're driving around.

 

thanks for the help bro, if the rain lets up by tomorrow i plan to fix all this stuff. i also broke a piece of the splash guard off earlier tonoght.

 

i believe the cost for the whole assembly, R/L wheel well & under carriage is around $150.00 from TOYOTA.

i got it from racing solution, hey humantorch i ended up having to cut out most of that splash guard because it was torn to shreds.

 

I started a separate thread on this issue. My lips looks to be the same as yours and I have the same problems with the splash guards and the end caps. I wish I'd never bought the damn thing.
