That's way too much for a high-low! I use F1Spec 8K in my xB and the kits have a hi/lo in BiXenon or the Xenon/Halogen setup avalible..
PM me..

I've got the Techone 8000K kit low beam only and it's bright as heck. I have them in my Anzo projector lights.

I thought about getting the Philips set before and it was close to 500 for the kit, but then I thought about it and decided to go with some off brands and I got 2 sets for less than 400 shipped. one set of techone 6000k for the headlights and a set of a no name brand 3000k for my fogs. I am very happy with the decision. them 3000k light up the roads too! looking at my fogs you don't really see the yellow but the shine on the ground is SUPER yellow.

But I say go with what you desire or prefer.

for 500 bucks, I get a no name brand and the anzo headlights and the LED tails.

lol, thanks for the pm with the info. So the Anzo's, are those the same as the ones on Ebay? And from the pm, Violent B used H3 Hid Kit. Is this because only an H3 will fit in those projectors?

I ask because I want to get some HIDS first for the stock housing and save up for some projectors. But the stocks use H4 and I wouldnt want to soend money on HIDS and then not be able to use them with projectors.

Also, if the stock wiring is for H4 bulbs, how did you get the H3 bulbs to work? Im really bad with lighting and HIDS so thanks for any help.

Get both! I did, shoot,

Well With the Anzos, all you have to do is to drill a hole on the plastic cover behind the bulb big enogh to secure the rubber piece that came with your HID bulbs to make it fit. The H3 HID bulb and base are a little bigger than the regular H3 bulbs. the bulb will fit inside the projector in the Anzo without any problems, just that you will not be able to have the back cover fully closed. If Violent_b had sent you the emails, follow what he advises, can't go wrong! I completed it with out any problems. Just make sure the hole you drill will need to be perfect size to house the rubber gasket with your HID kit. (With mine, I used a 1" drill bit for the holes.)
I actually got 3 sets. One set of 6000k for the dual halo projectors you see in my profile (P.O.S.) and they used 9006 bulbs. Then I thought about clearing out the stocks and got a set of H4 5300k because you can not adjust them dual P.O.S. halo craps. But then I found the Anzo ones on ebay for like 130 shipped and so I got them, I got them thinking they used H4 bulbs and to find out NO. SO I got a new set of the 6000k in H3 bulbs and a set of 3000k in 9006 bulbs to use for my fogs. so H3 6000k HID for headlight and 3000k HID for fogs and it's funny, the 3000k fogs shines yellow on the ground but if you look at the fog lamp housing, they look white with a slight hint of yellow.

Now to the wiring.

The Anzo light comes with a H3 plug to be PNP to your oem headlight plug. it is a single plug that controls the low and high beams. You will need to hook the balast to the headlight wires inside the Anzo headlight housing by A) disconnecting the white(positive) and Black(negatives) and run them through the rubber gasket/housing that you drilled a hole and installed. I recommend you solder some longer wires and secure it inside the headlight housing and run the new wires out the rubber gasket. Once out, use the plugs you purchase and solder them all up. note depending on the HID kit you purchase, some requires you to hook up wires with the red connected to black and the black to red. I am guessing that the person at the factory who was in charge of the wiring is color blind to so such a thing?

anyhoo, after the wires for the headlights, you will need to do the LEDs next. I used the plug kit for a trailer purchased for like 2 bucks at a pepboys. one end went to the 2 wires out from the Anzo headlights and the other end is tapped into the turn signals. (there are 3 wires from the turn signals -2 green and 1 white- ) you will tap into 1 of the green wires and the other to the white. I forgot which was which, I will take a look in the morning. After this step is done you have completed one headlight install. repeat for the next light. once all the wires and plugs are soldered harness/plug from your car to get power, I used 2 yellow (lol) butt plug, the flat ones and soldered it to the wires from the ballast and used like 2 or 3 different sizes of shrink tube to have good insulation for the plugs. Depending what HID kit you get, you may also want to run a relay so you don't burn anything out in your electrical. Double check.. I would recommend you to ask the people you are getting the kit from if the kit will need a relay for your car. the 3 kits I got, 2 do not need relays but the McCulloch I got violent_b advised that to play it safe, use relays. I will do so when I decide to switch out the lights.

I will try and take some pics tomorrow for ya, can't do it tonight cause I got the headlights off AGAIN to redo my CAI. damn cheap rubber mounts broke off from my initial lazy/quick install of the AEM bypass filter

P.S. To do a nice clean job and not a ghetto install, I recommend you to visit an auto parts store near you and get some matching plugs (male one end and female the other end) something like the oem plugs. I bought some oem chevy water proof ones for my HID bulbs so plugging and unplugging up to the balasts is a breeze! the same with the LEDs on the anzo. solder the 2 loose wires coming out the anzo housing to the other half of the trailor plug you purvhased, I used a trailor light plug from the trailor parts section ofn the autoparts store. they were like 2 bucks each. make sure you get plenty of shrink tubes (USE TO COVER EXPOSED WIRES AFTER YOU SOLDER

Phewwww. I thin that is about it. Like I said, I will attempt to take some pics tomorrow while finishing up my car.

I hope this has helpped!

here is the link to the HID kit I purchased off ebay. Too bad the seller is not registered anymore. I still have his contact info though, let me know if you want it. In all I spent a total of $208.00 for a 6000k H3 kit and a set of 3000K 9006 bulbs for my fogs.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...MEWN:IT&ih=011

I think it was a good price considering most folks on this forum sells a set for at least 220.00 for a kit. I got a kit and another set of bulbs for cheaper. By comparaison, they all look the same to me. have the same housings and wiring setup. I mean even the red wire to black and crap is the same. LOL. The techones are the same as the pro lumens. the McCulloch set I got is Nicer though right away I can tell by the Bulbs and packaging. The balasts is very sturdy and the ignitor is a seperate piece that is attached to the balast. kinda weird and you will feel that the design is stupid and why couldn't they just combine it all in one housing... blah, blah.. Well, that is what I thought at first. but then after installing 2 sets already, I realized that if I used the McCulloch kit, I could have had more places to munt the balasts, cause it is smaller and you can just mount the balast housing else where. but you get what you pay for. the McCulloch was 240.00 shipped to me about 6 months ago and those are H4 bulbs that I will install in my stocks when I feel the need to do so. But as of now, they are sitting on the top of my shoe rack in my garage. hehehe.

there are 2 adjustment *****, one near the top of the light and one that is lower on the opposite side as the top one. the two adjustment ***** look alike, just lok lower on the backside of the light housing.
