Nothing higher than 6kK.
As stated, 4.3kK is going to provide the best visibility of the group. 6kK is a good balance between visibility and looks.

The cutoff on the projectors is phenomenal.
I ran HID in the stock housings for 2 years. The glare was horrendous. If you're gonna do HID, might as well do it right.
(oh, and mine fog occasionally, but if you leave the rubber boot for the high beam off a touch, it'll clear up right away)

I have Rikensport 8000k in low beam and 3000k in high beam in the stock housing. The low beam is the brightest light i have ever had, now the 3000k high beam sucks cause the high beam in the stock housing has no reflector! so when i turn on the high beams, its the blue mixed with the yellow, its a mess visually! But it looks great
See, high beam HIDs never made much sense to me. You don't generally have them on all the time and the on-and-off operation of high beams will kill a bulb fast (they don't have time to warm up properly and that'll shorten their lives rapidly.
i got 8k HiD's in my stock housing in my onix blue... and let me tell u i love the way it looks... personally the 6k looks like high beams to me and thats why i liked the 8k slightly blue and it even goes with my car a bit being light blue
