Default hood pins

hey so who all has a carbon fiber hood here? i bought some hood pins for it...but i'm not sure on where to begin. i hear that its too easy to crack to CF...so what are some good tekniques? and does anybody have any pics on where their pins are located? thanks for the feedback!

Here's mine. There were two holes in the support rail about where I wanted my pins so I just enlarged them. As for drilling through the hood I suggest putting tape on both surfaces. It helpskeep your drill bit true going in and it helps keep the carbon fiber from splintering especially when you come out the other side. It wasn't terribly difficult, just checking and rechecking to make sure everything lines up.

basically for safety purpose...a friend of mine got his CF hood flip over when he was on the way to vegas...this is to ensure it stays in place

thanks for the replies, hey so did you drill down or up? and which holes did you use? the ones that are right next to the rubber pieces? i'm debating on going to get the hole drilled so i don tmess it all up...but i also dont kno where i want em. but yours does look good right there chad..
