Default How do you clean the inside of the sonar projectors????

i have an 06 bsp box and i have the sonar projectors and the inside of my sonars are freaking dirty how do i clean them? or should i just buy a new set?

You could always bake them and pull the lenses.

believe it or not even though my name is doughboy i cant even bake cakes lol, i think i will juz by another pair, i think the main reason why they are so freakin dirty is because moisture used to get in there all the time.....

yeah, i got the same problem with mine. especially now that i have hid in them it looks like a film of dust on the inside. maybe ill try a long q-tip lol

i guess im just gonna order a new pair and then when they come in i will try the whole shake and bake thing and re-seal em so that i dont have the fogging problem.....and the current pair i have now i guess i will bake them and clean them good as well and leave them in the garage as spares.....

funny thing is is that my anzos never fogged, but now idk how to describe it... but like the lense isnt as "clear" as it was before

same thing with mine! i got these lights about a yr and a half ago and was in love with them but over the past 3mths it was getting worse and worse and worse and now its just unbearable and i wanna take em off asap......

mine arent to that point yet... i mean, its only noticeable if the car is in a certain light... but other than that you cant tell

idk how to post picz on this site thingy but just imagine eating a nice powdered donut and instead of licking the powder off of your fingers you take them and push them on a peice of glass over and over again and then you pour some milk on top of it and let it sit in the sun for oooooooooooo about an hour...

buying a new set and doing the bake & seal sounds like a good idea.
i saw the same sonars that i bought a year ago for $125 is now $81 on racers union
