Just got my christmas present for myself and its a factory spoiler. I heard its fairly easy and comes with the template for drilling the holes.
So just how hard is it to install this thing or should I just take it to a place and have them install it. I know it would only take them a half hr to install it if that and will probably try and charge me like $75-100.
Anybody got any help for installing the spoiler yourself? Is there a webpage or anything to shows how to do it with pictures? Just looking for ideas before drilling holes into my car

I purchased a used factory spoiler through the classifieds here. I had no template, but installation was fairly easy.
The only snag that I think you might run into is the fact that a special tool must be used to install the "nutzert" rivets into the roof. These basically install a threaded nut into the roof sheetmetal so that bolts can be installed. I work in a body shop, so access to this tool was not a problem for me. DO NOT use sheetmetal screws!
Another tip is to coat the exposed metal in the new holes w/ etching primer, & use seam sealer between the nutzert and the roof to insure no moisture enters your ride.
Good Luck

i did mine.. it was fairly simple.. just follow the directions n use the templates. there are no special tools needed to install the factory spoiler.
tape
pencil
drill
drill bit
i dont remember if its phillips head bolts or standard socket bolts
so either a phillips head screw driver or some sockets

I was lucky enough to get my spoiler installed for free at Redline.
All they did was put double sided tape, and mounted the spoiler on.
After it was mounted correctly/straight, just drilled in the holes to keep it in place.
Sounds easy, but something I couldn't do myself.
