Ok Dude it's been such a long time since ive been on scionlife.
I was about to make a few deals with a few people before i left.
I had moved and jot a new job and all they above. So I lost all

I need a few things now that i got the ball rolling again!

For my box i need........

-Fog Lights (oem)

-hid kit (forgot what bulb size also) 9003?

So Let me know where i can swoop on some good deals besides craigslist!!!!

hey everyone.. kinda wanted help figuring out how to install fog lights on the lower grille. there are holes and it looks like its for fogs, but the OEM ones are made for the under the headlights popout area.... could anyone direct me to instructions for installing aftermarket fogs? I will probably just get a regular pair of round ones at the parts store but have never installed them before.... any help appreciated..

Just an FYI: You can pick up the OEM fogs for $80 from most dealerships. The only two components you will need is a relay and a switch. There are part numbers for these items... I just don't remember what they are, I have my printouts at home for the part numbers.

they are clear. and its just the housing. so you can pic any bulb of your choosing. as far as install they just clip into the bumper after you take off the covers. i am at work at the moment so i cant post pics

FYI, if you are picking them up at the dealer then the only way they come is in a kit, which is on sale at most dealers right now. that kit will include the housings, the relay, the switch. and instructions. the dealer does not offer housings by themselves. so this is a good way to get them. if you find housings used from somebody else then you can find the relay on ebay and an after market switch that will fit in the same exact location as OEM, also on ebay. thats where i got mine with a led in it. if you dont find relays let me know, i have extras. good luck
as far as HID kits, check this ebay user ID, dealtime321, so far he is easy to work with and shipping is super fast. his warranty is great also, 2 YEARS on ballast and bulbs!

oh yeah by the way
the bulb number for the headlight is H4, oem is high and low beam but unless you spend alot on a kit then you will just get H4 low. once you have those you wont even ever want your highbeam anyway. and the bulb number for your fog is 9006.
6000k is the whitest and brightest, but the 8000k is very nice also

Actually, 4300kis the whitest/brightest... that's why it's the OEM color temp for 99% of manufacturers.
