Default I'm Scared to take my bumper off

I want to clear out my headlights. And I know you have to take the bumper off to get the headlights off. I'm worried I won't line it up right after I'm done. I've seen the tech article...should I not be scared and just go for it? If you've done it let me know. I'm actually pretty handy with the tools. I just don't want to mess up something I paid 17 thousand for

Thanks in advance

You don't have to take it all the way off. Take off all but the bottom ones, and you can lean it forward...

Yup... I cleared mine out and the bumper never touched the floor.

You just gotta move it enough to get at those lower headlight bolts.

Also the bumper is held in by a tab under the hl housing...

Being a chick and not too familiar with automobiles, I found it an easy process to remove my front bumper when I replaced my factory headlight swith halos and then again when I replaced my factory grill. I was even careful enough to lay down an old blanket to protect it just in case it fell off. All you need is a ratchet wrench and a flathead screwdriver for the plastic tabs. Once you've taken the bolts off, you still have to give it a decent yank to pop it off. I really can't see there being any reason to worry about the bumper looking crooked when putting it back on - it pops into place.

hooray, I get to take off my bumper for the 5th time this week, cause my headlight is still leaking, even after fixing it 4 times.
