Default Lamborgini Doors

Does anyone know of what kind of places might want to take on a project of transforming my regular doors to doors like on a lamborgini? Not the kind like on a Delorian(I think they are called Gull Doors) :?:

Thanks. Do auto body shops do this kind of stuff. If so would it be as expensive as these kits or ???? I think this would really set my car apart from others but at the moment I don't have 2 grande to drop. Already have dropped about 4 This might be a future project.

Awsome. Hopefully it isn't to much trouble. I figure the hardest part might be re-wiring the door. And hopefully I have someone to help me take the door off. I can see me dropping it now :o

I really want to try and get a door pop on it. Im not sure exactly what I need. Someone said I need a shave kit. I thought I could somehow have a door pop attached to the unlock wire in my door so when it unlocks it then is popped. Im not sure how to do this or what type of places could do this kind of work.

as far as setting the door poppers to open with your unlock . . .. .it kinda the same thing because when you shave your handles it doesnt matter if it is unlocked because noone without your remote can get into the vehicle anyways. . .. . .so the doors dont have to lock just undo the lock mechanism and reprogram your remote to handle the solenoids from the poppers. . . .i have done this many times works great!

woo can you put this in terms I understand. I thin I am still confused what shaving is. I mean yea I do it to my face but what about my car? someone said shaving is just taking your handles off your door basically. Personally I don't care if the handles are there. I just want the door to pop open and come up.

Currently i have an alarm in my car. So it is possible to program that remote to pop open the doors? I didn't want to have to have 2 remotes. :

shaving your doors is just taking off your handles and making a patch to fill that hole in and cleaning it all up real nice...shave it smooth like your face...you really dont have to do that tho with what you want to do
also with the poppers all you have to do is unhook the outside door handle from inside of the door so that it doesnt work anymore...then you put the popper (solenoid) on and hook that up to an accessory button on your remote and when you hit that button your doors will open right up
pretty straight forward process and not really that difficult to do...mostly just the wiring is a pain...if you have a general knowledge about electronics you should be able to do this yourself
email or pm if you have any other questions

First off for the lambi doors visit visionautodynamics.com they have a kit for the xB. It costs $1,399 and includes all of the hardware and the hinges. For the shaved doors. what happens is the regular door handles are removed and then the holes are filled in with a new sheet of metal that is painted and all to match your car. I will look as if you never had door ahndles to begin with. The doors are opened then by magnets that can keep the door shut or "pop" them open when you want to get in or out.

there is no lock.. closed is locked, with no handels no one can open the unlocked doors... you use your remote but instead of it unlocking your doors it pops the lactch to open the door so you can get in.

there has to be a lock even if a door doesn't have handles anyone can walk up and grab the window sil and pull it open couldn't they. I don't really want to do that when I got thousands of dollars worth of stuff inside.

You said it pops the latch so the latch would in a sense be the lock that holds the door shut.

Correct, the latch is pretty much your lock. One thing do suggest is to wire an emergency switch to the vehicle just in case your remote dies or something goes wrong with the wiring. You can put it in the fender wheel or under the side skirts or somewhere that you can't see from plain view.
