Default lighting problem

Ok, i got some led 7443's in red. They only light up when i hit the brakes and wont light up with just the lights on. I checked the bulbs and they are indeed 7443, they have 2 wires. I emailed a guy about load reistors and he said i shouldnt need those for tail light, just turn signals. Anyone had this issue or know whats up? Once again for the tail light, not turn signal.

Hmm...
the tailight/brake lightbulbs should have 4 contacts (not 2). They replace the dual filament bulbs. Taillights on should give you low brightness light and full brightness when brakes are applied.

If these do have 4 contacts try flipping them in the socket. That might solve the problem.
