Default Looking for CLEAR rear light cover

I have an 05' BCP XB. It has those quazi-euro lights in the rear, but I have seen (on this site) Someone who has a cleaner, CLEARER version, where all th bulbs can be seen (without the diamond shaping on the inside).... SO...

Is there a MOD to make my lenses smooth, it it something I could just buy, and slap ontop of my stock lights, or will I have to buy a whole new set for the rear to accomplish the look?

And help would be greatly appreciated.

I think he's looking for the Helix clear tails... the only draw back is that they don't have reflecters built in (a legal issue with most states), which means you'll have to get some aftermarket reflectors (adhesive tape or something).

EDIT: I just re-read your post, and I now realize these have the "diamond" covers you were talking about. Sorry...

Mill0048! Thanks so much... that's what I'm looking to accomplish, but only with the outer cover... I'd like to keep the lights themselves... Is that possible?

Maybe a mod?

Is anybody following any of this? Cause even I'm confused... lol

This pic also has the smoothed look to it (without the diamond cutting on the inside)

BTW, By (daimond cutting) think of a car reflector. You know how on the outside it's smooth, but on the inside, there are diamond shaped cut outs? That's what my rear tailights are like... and I would like them to be smooth, without having to purchase an entirely new set of tailights...

Oh, you probably won't find it unless you get it from Japan. Or do it custom.

you could look through bat's tail light over lays, other than that your going to have to separate your lights and get really crafty ...prolly lot cheaper and easier just to buy those altezza style lights

I've been contemplating finding a pair on ebay that doesn't include the bulbs or something, so they're cheap, and taking the housing off and using it on my box... So if anybody knows anybody... Hit me up!

I have a bcp, and I painted mine. They turned out great, so I bought a bunch of stock tails to mod.

So you want the stock taillight housing, but with a clean / clear lens? I'm not sure you'll want the stock tailight housing showing. Being that it's behind the "diamond" haze of the outer lens, they probably didn't take any consideration for cosmetics on the inside. If you wanted to do something custom though, you could bake the lens off (there's a tutorial about sealing lights on here that tells you how to seperate them) an aftermarket pair that has a clear lens and mount said clear lens to another style taillight housing (like stock or some other aftermarket light). Alot of work, but for psuedo-custom it can be done.

On a side note, there is a Taillight parts section here on SL. When you click on one of the links in this list (https://www.scionlife.com/parts/?sub=28), it shows pictures of the lights and more info. To help get some ideas or whatever...

Wow... thanks mill0048! very cool info...

And I agree that the interior probably doesn't look FABULOUS... but I wanted to mod it and make it my own... like some silverstars in the rear would be killer... seeing as I have them in the front currently.
