Sorry but your information is INCORRECT! HKS type C coilovers will go down about 4" in the rear and about 4.56" in front. I know because i had these coilovers on my Box.

Cusco Vacanza wagon coilovers will also go down around 4" too.

[/quote]

Wher can I get these and how much?

Product Page
http://www.hks-power.co.jp/products/.../ccompact.html

NewScionParts has them listed for $1185. I saw them at SuperAutobacs last time I was there but don't remember the price.

I CAN GET A FULL BOLT ON AIRBAG KIT FROM FBI FOR LIKE $1600.
That will almost let it sit on the ground.

These springs ride just fine on stock struts and shocks but while ur at it, swapping over to Waydo Sportivo (TRD) struts & shocks are worth it for the $$$ ($291 for full suspension, TRDsparks.com)

If you want around 3", you'll def find urself into some big bucks with an air-ride setup.
So what do you guys things is a better choice?? Tanabe DF210 on stock struts or Waydo Sportivo (TRD) struts & shocks?? btw where can I buy any of these online?? Thanks in advance for the info y'all!

You'd have to piece together a kit from FBI as far as i know. I don't think they have any components for the front either. For that most people buy the Easystreet front air struts.

@ http://www.gauge-store.com/ you can get the ES front strut kit for $487 shipped! "when you set up your account use 'frmember' as your promotional code"

I'm planning on doing a typical "piece-together" install. Check out my thread for more info:

https://www.scionlife.com/forums/vie...804&highlight=

I have changed a lot of parts that i'm getting from the ones that are listed on the first page.

FBI:

www.fbimini.com

they sell the brackets needed to bolt on 2500lb bags in the rear of the xA/xB. I have the brackets and i chose the RE-5 2500lb SlamSpecialties bags for my rear

Proto, normally I don't care for yellow cars but your xB looks nice and clean - it's pimp!

DF210s is the perfect way to go, drops low and is one of the best choices for performance springs. Mine dropped roughly 2.2-2.3/front 2.1-2.3/rear. Its a even drop so doesn't have the rear sag look. Handles great for springs.

Also, as for the comments on 3''+ drop you have to go air ride, thats completely incorrect. Most coilovers drop atleast 3'', progress will drop close to 5-6'' front and 4-5'' rear, at least so i'm told.

HKS, JIC, TEIN SS are all great coilover set ups, and very good companies. But you are looking at $1,900+ for these. I noticed you said you didn't want to spend big bucks, so Df210's are perfect for you.

Also, aftermarket exhaust or not it doesn't matter. If you haven't driven a lowered car before, just watch out for speed bumps (go at angle, no matter how harmless they may seem), steep entrance drive ways and pot holes are the same way. May seem like a lot of work, but after a little experience it becomes second nature to watch for these things and you rarely notice you are driving more carefully than you would. Small price to pay for looking and performing well.

alright thats wrong TOO killerx.

progress will drop close to 5-6'' front and 4-5'' rear, at least so i'm told.
theyre gonna be closer to 3-3.5 front and back is my guess. and after all the hype... where are they???! Enough said

Look at the D2 coilover systems as they will SLAM you, even though theyll cost over 1200. For the price, HKS is a damn good option and is not like 1900. Brian posted the link where you can get for 1200 or so i believe. thats not bad for a coilover system.

Budget break down best for buck:

$0-200 = Tanabe Df210
$201-700= Tanabe Sustec Pro S-OC Type 2
$701-1000 = Tein Basics (or Dampers if you can find them cheap)
$1000-1200= HKS Hypermax C-compact
$1201or over= D2 Coilovers

Thats what ive found and heard the best about. Others will have different opinions, but this is what Id say.

I paid alot less than 1200 my friend!

Actually, the shop I bought my D2s from said that they would give anyone from SL.com a better deal than 1200 if they were interested. If someone is, I have their phone number.

Okay, so i was wrong about pricing and the progress lowering amount, you were wrong about a price too! I do know Jic's set up is close to $2,000, at least last i heard because you can't get them here you have to order them straight out of japan, unless jic decided to bring them over. Progress did have a lot of hype, i was told the drop was a lot more than 3'', by a lot of people including the guy i talked to from progress. Could be wrong, i never checked into it after that so i'm not going to point fingers. I wish they would hurry up and put it out.

I forgot about D2's, they drop low. I paid $210 for my df210's, did they come down in price? I know certain places you can get them cheaper, but i haven't really seen a place that sells them cheaper than $175 (without shipping) unless you buy them from a seller here.

Thanks for correcting me regardless, i really haven't checked too much as far as prices overall for coilovers. I know when i had the gsr i paid $2,100 give or take.

its all good no worries. we all have mistakes as i have proven. i thought D2s were a lot more expensive. JIC arent a lot really but i never did price them thoroughly. You can get DF210s for 150 shipped off ebay at times. I got mine for 120 from a local brand new. I was happy about that. I desperately need coilvoers though in the future.

I dont have faith in progress and i wont until im proven wrong. I like how they showed Neil Tjins crap brown xB on their coilovers, with a huge lip kit extending below. Totally misleading and lost my trust in them. Might as well spring an extra hundred and get Tein which are proven and work awesome for everyone that has had them.

yeah, being that i autox the box i will also need coilovers in the future. though, the df210's have surprised me. for the money you really wouldn't think they would be able to handle much without as much body roll as stock, but very stiff. i was pretty surprised and shocked, its definitely a good call for someone that wants the best performance springs (imo, but im sure they perform better than most springs) and wants to get low. i know the s-techs perform well, but comparing them to my xb with dfs, mine handled a little better.

Wow, thats a LOT cheaper vs when they first came out. JIC must have brought them over to the states then, when they first came out i looked into them and it was $1,950 + shipping give or take from japan.

I know what i'm getting this spring as well as other few things. JIC is a great company, i have their sparta de type 1 exhaust.
