Default McCulloch HID 10000k Bi-Xenon - Need Installation Help

Need Help....I purchased McCulloch 10000k HID Bi-Xenon kit from hid-sin.com and got it yesterday. I previously had a single beam 8000k hid kit that i wanted to upgrade on my xB. I took the car to a car shop where i usually go to and they were having problems installing the hid kit. They installed the 8000k hid before w/ no problems. They said when they connect the 2 negatives and 1 postive cable to the OEM wire, the lights automatically come on without the car even being on. Even playing w/ the light switch doesn't change anything. Does anyone have any ideas? Thanx....

FYI to all - Don't buy McCulloch 10000k HID Bi-Xenon kit for your xB - My installer spoke with their technical dept. and they said it's a compatibility issue which is why both beams won't work, they recommened me to just get a single beam. I asked them if I can return this and exchange it for the dual beam (low beam Xenon & high beam halogen) - they said they no longer carry the dual beam because they have also having problems w/ that one, i guess that's what u call a manufacture defect. I just had the installers threw back my original 8000k which works fine. But i still want bi-xenon 10000k, does any one have a bi-xenon installed on their xb that works fine?

Too late cliffud, I returned it just yesterday. Screw McCulloch....I have people telling me when it comes to HID's, German brands are the best. So i guess i'm gonna go w/ a German brand. I also heard the McCulloch went out a business a while back and they are just selling the left over hid's.

Ah. glad to hear you were able to get your money back.

Funny you should be looking at bi-xenon kits. I happened to pick one up to review and I think I'll start offering them on SL soon.

It's an H4 5k though... lemme know if you want it, it comes with mega wire harness to power all 4 ballasts and it connects directly to your battery via a dedicated power line and it will be COMPLETELY PLUG AND PLAY. hehe - it also comes in a felt lined metal suitcase.

The price is $340 shipped.

I don't have any pics now since I just got these in but I'll post pics later if you're interested.

Thanks.

Clifford
