So i pull into a gas station, pay for my gas...and on my way out I notice something different about my car...I'm missing a darn piece of the bottom grille. Anyone have this problem before? I can't find the piece anywhere...where can i get a replacement? I don't understand how that thing could just fall off, i've had the car for only a little over a month, normal driving conditions.

Welcome to my world... I lose 1 close to every week, thank god my dealer covers them under warranty.

 

One BIG bug must've beat the crap out of it.

I'm suprised mine hasn't fallen out yet. (I'm driving without the lower middle grill piece from hitting a jack rabbit).

I think thats an excuse to make your own custom grill, be a real scion lifer ;)

 

Dealer will sell them. If you hate your dealer, PM me and I'll sell you one.

They just pop in. Mine are all screwed up because of my lip kit and its lack of support. I just run them for shows now!

i got both sides here and im willing to get rid of them, holler at my email trisdale495x@hotmail.com and post topic as "WTF xB grill Fcked!" or something like that so i know it isnt junk mail...

 

I lost mine to..... cost me $30 from carmax...

 

i lost the same piece. so has everyone else! it's so common for this to happen! it sucks!


how do you get it under warranty?

 

Trust me, If I didn't mess up every DIY project I've ever done, I'd mod my box. I've had it for over a month now, and it's completely stock. The only way I could do a different grille is to copy someone else, if they gave me a complete in-depth instruction manual....then come to my place and fix it after I mess it up

My dealership is the kind that would fck me over, what should I say to get it under warranty, and how much does it cost throught the dealer normally?

 

I think I got my replacement one for around $25-$30 from the dealership.

there is alot of peeps that lost them. luckily mine is still there.

 

Just get billets.
