I am looking to change the whole front end of my xB and need some ideas for head lamps to attempt to mold into the front end that would look good and fit fairly decent.

Please help with ideas as for everything we have placed in there just doesnt look right at all.

Well, considering only 1 in a hundred headlight or body part swaps ever turn out decent, I'd say the odds are good that it'd look like crap.

 

Wow the negativity is horrible. In whose opionion is it that only 1 in a hundred turn out decent or look like crap? Someone not willing to take the time and effort to do it? That is why i have asked of ideas. We have placed maybe 7 or 8 in the spot to get an idea of a look and all have looked a little off.

I want to thank the people who have shot out ideas so far. Those BMW ones are sweet looking. What model BMX lights are those?

 

Whats the good thing? Factory? Ummm everyone has them already and we are trying to build this one for show. There are only a few in my area really fixed up and I want this one to really stand out. And a headlight conversion brings big points at shows. Well any major conversion brings decent points.

Oh, so now somebody responding to a post on a public forum that doesn't happen to be what you want to hear is "padding my post count?" Give me a break. The fact that you would spend a hundreds or thousands of dollars to put the headlights from a 30k dollar car onto a car that cost 15k just blows my mind.

 

No it blows my mind is that your comment was an opinion on the outcome and look. Didnt even have to do with the question at hand. So yes my point was valid.

Does it disturb you that people can and are able to afford thousand dollar mods to their 15 thousand dollar cars? I have spent over 8 grand on my SRT-4 and over 15 grand on my wives show 1998 cavalier which has a 1200 headlight/taillight conversion.

Your question was what other people thought would look good and fit. I gave you mine. how is that not on topic? As for it being negative...maybe you shouldn't be posting on a public forums. Maybe a show car forums would be more up your alley.

 

Ok back on topic. This guy just signs online to try to argue. Sad thing but it happens....Thanks again guys. We have some BMW ones on the way and gonna see how we like it.
