Escalade headlights. Dont do BMW. If you're going to do spend the money and time to get this done, dont copy. CTS headlights would be easier too from Cadillac.

RSX headlights are pretty sweet...or how about the projectors that steer? from the 2006 Passat..you know, one of those NOT so standard features AVAILABLE on the all new german enginered passat...man, that saying makes no sence... if they are only available, they are not standard on this thing either...

RSX lights have to much slope in the housing and they'd fit oddly. the BMW ones are a little more flat faced. You need to stick with something "flat" so it stays with the look a little more. RSX lights in an xA maybe (but good lord that'd take a lot of sheet metal work to fill in the stock hole)

I'd fabricate a whole grill/headlight piece with projectors, fiberglass, and plexiglass.

It could be awesome.

Just take your stock headlights, fiberglass them to the grill, and go from there. It'd take some definite doing, but you could make a sweet custom, 1-off grill and headlight without modifying the bumper, fenders, or hood.

Barring that, some 90s mercedes headlights (squarish, not the double-round) could be cool.

I'f you wanted to stay boxy you could go with headlights from any of the new landrover vehicles. freelander/lr3/range rover.. I think it would look neat and still keep that boxy touch to it

Round headlights from the 60s. Get the Quartz Iodine style (replaceable bulbs)

Put the large size (6 inch? it's been so long I can't remember) on the outside for your low beams. Put the small side on the inside for the high beams (the lows will have a high beam filament, too)

You'll need to mod the hood for these to fit, then you fair the headlights in.

Make it really wicked, and do it in HID.

Edited to add:

sorta like this (drawn in crude character graphics)

thats what I was thinkering a few months ago, but 6" is too big. I was thinking about 2 - 4" each side, then put some chrome half moons(fabbed) , but its too much work so I dropped the idea.

I can't speak to 'too big', since that's obviously an issue of taste (and I don't know how well it would work, or look.)

Hearty agreement that it would be a lot of work, since the hood would need to be cut, and a fairing of sorts be crafted in. It would be sort of like the headlights on a bug-eyed Sprite.

I would like to see something similar to the new Rover's. I love their headlights.

Since when is this a show car forum?
OP: Do what you want and win them show trophies. If you think I'm on here just to argue...you're sorely mistaken. I'm simply stating my opinion like everybody else here.

I think that maybe using some type of hideaway lights like the ones that were used on the 1969 Camaro or the old model buicks... Thats just my opinion.
