what i did was i took the grille and lightly sanded it with very high grit paper, then i used metallic black from auto zone (the actual car paint in little cans), i sprayed 4-5 thin coats and let them sit under my shop lamps for about an hour between coats... then i did 3-4 coats of clear (from AZ aswell, in the little cans) and then after i was done, let the whole thing sit under my lamps for about 4 hours before even thinking of putting it on the car.... never had a prob with chipping...

See, NicholasBanderas and RedneckXbLoverguy have it right, time and love is all you need....OH and Jesus, you definetly need Jesus. MadMax, I know you don't care, but yet you took the time to send that inspirational post. I will show you and the world......love conquers all....especially Satan and Haters. Wish me luck.

I have painted lots of plastic bumpers, grilles, trim etc...I make sure it is sanded lightly and use the Duplicolor Adhesion Promotor before the paint and clear sprays...never had chipping issues...
