it is done with a simple new hinge between the hood and the old one, took me 2 weekends of working on it and taking the hood on and off 4 times to get it right. And deff a 2-3 person job.
I spent total of like $7 at the store on parts and some I did not end up using.

Mine is bad luck you don't want it. It seems like if something is going to happen to a car it will find mine. I got the hood repainted from rock chips and a rock hit it on the way home, so now it has a new chip and it hadn't been an hour since i left the bodyshop.

What holds the other side down when it is closed?
And can you take some pictures of the hinges if you dont mind giving your secret away?
