You will not get pulled over in California for not having an exposed exhaust tip. No way.

I have owned several vehicles with a "dump" right after the mufflers. There are thousands upon thousands of vehicles all over the country running exhausts like that.

For instance almost every truck and hot rod on air suspension or hydraulics.

hot rods and trucks. bring an import down here w/ a cut off exhast. you will get pulled over. The man pulls people over here for the slightest mod. Also my father is a "man". clear corners even get you pulled. also as petty as no front license plate.
