I'm having a hard time understanding why these visors are so popular. I see them on trucks and mini-vans and I think they are ugly, especially in a few years when the sun gets to them and they start cracking and breaking.

I mean why mess up the clean styling and simple lines of the xB with these things that stick out and look kinda silly.

I'm not trying to pick on you for putting them on your ride, I'm just trying to understand why they are so popular amongst xB owners when most of the car enthousiast world thinks they are ugly.

Well, most car enthusiasts think the xB is ugly. We just wanna make it uglier j/k

Seriously though, these visors are actually pretty functional, so I don't care what other enthusiast think - although, I'm sure the JDMness of it has a lot to do w/ their popularity...

the one you see on trucks and vans are ventshades, very plain and simple looking, have you seen E-sams in person? it really look nice!

I much prefer the Wades because of the simplicity. They blend much more vicely with the body lines and aren't nearly as obtrusive.

Quite functional as well.

I'm glad everybody and there brother will now have these...I'm sure the JDM fan bois will be ecstatic that a fairly unobtainable item is now so easy to get. :D

theyre easy to get now, just more $$ and a little wait. its not like theyre super rare or anything. just takes awhile to get.

im all about the JDM styling, but i dont care if something is legit or not as long as it has good flow to it. thats way more important.

Kozmo,
can you do a wind noise test,
driving it HWY speed and opening the window a few inch. just enough to have the special holes open(both front and rear.
thanks,

Finally an esams knock off!!!! and something that fits outside of the channel... if it is cheaper (and it better be a lot cheaper) i am down for a set.... Just broke two of my ventshades inchannel visor... when the window went up it caught on the lip and SNAP! i don't recomend those inchannel one unless you are gonna be **** retentive when you roll up your windows!

i'm not sure why anyone would say those look bad... they are beautiful to me!

i have Wades now and they fit fine...

Maybe you messed up install or something. I know a lot of people with them and no problems. Very weird. And yes price for the GB will be around 140, and then after that it will be higher so its smart to get in on the group buy!

i understand where you can think that (messing up the install) but how can you screw up rubbing with alcohol, and sticking it to the inside of the channel with doublesided sticky tape. :$

the problem was no matter what you stick, it is on the inside of the channel, and creates a lip, when caught right it didn't let the window past that lip, so it would just bent and then SNAP.

*i just realized i am very defensive when accused of messing something up : )*

Nice. Looks almost like the real deal. Bought directly from the manufacturer? Does it have the squegee on the front visors like the real E*Sams?

If these are real knockoffs (not made by the manufacturer) try not to sell these in Japan. There's a "Patent Pending JP" engraving on the real E*Sam's.

Here is a photo of the rubber squeggie from the inside with the window up and down.

Look at the bottom edge of the visor:

This squeegie forms a seal against the window to allow only the front of the window to suck out the bad air, when the window is up to 3 inches lowered.
