Default OEM clear cover on Sonar housing?

Will this fit? I'm making a FFF with EZ-Baked's eyelids for the OEM headlingt. I'd like to have HID's at some point and don't want to use a reflector housing for them. I also have a set of Sonars that fog and need to be resealed. Would I be able to take the front clear cover off of the OEM light and have it fit on the Sonar back housing to keep the FFF fitment, or would I be better off getting a second set of OEM lights and modding them with a projector?

I tried that, wont work because the projector housings protrude too much... that's why the Sonars flare out the way they do. It's a bummer.

Thanks Boxer, sorry to hear it won't work but glad it's been tried so I have an answer without going through it myself. Looks like I'll be getting a second OEM set then and doing a projector mod.
