Default Oxidation On TYC's??? (Pics Inside)

Ok so I noticed my TYC's have what looks like oxidation. Has anyone else had this problem? how would I get rid of it?

If I'm correct, that haze should buff out with a gentle rubbing compound. This occurs with some headlights also and I think this happens cause of all the car washing we do, perhaps the soap we're using...

just a tip that may or may not be related. i always use turtle wax ice for my exterior plastic pieces. it works awesome and leaves no streaks or haze. im hopin that keeping all my trim waxd will prevent yelowing and that kinda oxidation stuff. it really brings headlight and taillight lens back to life

It's def. oxidation. Use some Mothers Metal polish on a microfiber towel. It also works on headlights and other plastics. The sun actually breaks down the plastic and causes this stuff. Follow up with wax to help stop it from re occurring.

They do but the metal polish works great on oxidized headlights and tail lights. Especially with a small buffing wheel mounted in a drill. If you have small scratches you can also wetsand with some 1500 or 2000 grit paper before the buffing stage.

This statement was off topic but needs to be clarified.
First off xB owners don't "hate" xB2 owners. We dislike the xB2s sharing the xB name. The xB2 is a fine car, just not worthy of the xB name. It's not a box or toaster. We wish xB2 owners would stop trying to convince us that the xB2 has the same qualities/quirks and charm of the xB classic. It's not gonna happen. It's a shame that Toyota couldn't have given it it's own name so it could develope it's own charm.
Now back on topic.

Thanks Metro 273. I've been wanting to say that for awhile but his comment was the last straw.
