Read the back of the bottle....apply a small amount of product to it w/ a foam pad to 1/4 of the area, then buff to remove w/ a MF towel. Move on to the next section until the entire lens is done. Judging by your pics, I am guessing you will need at least 3 applications to remove the defect. Remember not to apply it in the sun as well.

Once you have it removed, I would highly recommend that you do as I do and apply it to the tails AND headlights 2-3 times per year (I do it 4 myself) to keep the plastic moisturized, protected from UV light and free of oxidation.

It's not a case of how long. It a case of using some elbow grease while rubbing the polish into the lens. Then let dry and buff off residue. If it doesn't work try the Mothers Metal polish like I said earlier. I buff my plastic with a buffing wheel in a drill, works wonders.

I got the oxidation off, it still left kind of a water mark like stain on the plastic but the only way you'd know is because I told ya. I used BlueMagic Metal Polish Cream, it's non-abrasive and did the trick!...

This is happening to my TYC tails.
It is actully the clear breaking down that is spayed over the plastic.
If your still under warranty, take it back.
I am way over on miles. 140,000^

you should check out Headlight Restoration Service ( www.hrslights.com ). They should be able to help you with your oxidation problem.
