Default Paint chips... how to fix?

Hallo dere everyone... got my first obvious paint chip yesterday in my rear passenger door. It's down to the primer, no dent thankfully. So here's my question... does one use touch-up paint, or rubbing compound/buffers, ar just wait until there's a bunch more and have the whole side of the car painted again (quite unlikely...) I imagine this topic has been covered before but the search engine wasn't much help Thanks in advance

personally, trade in the box. j/k, anyway my front end has a couple of chips, I was so ____ed when I found the first one. there is a couple of companies online that sell touch up kits, none of them come to mind right now.

I have some touchup paint I got from the toyota dealer. I had some monster paint chips from my commute every day on the highway. I just used the little paintbruch and it's not perfect but it looks better than it did.
