Problems with Tint
Hopefully someone can help me a bit here...
I had my windows tinted a while back on my tC and since then rolling up my windows is slow, has a screeching sound, as if it's stuck on the door rubber.... I have 5% tint.. so i dont know if it's because of the thickness.. but either way it's starting to mar the tint a bit.
Any ideas on how to fix this...?.. may be take the door apart and shave back the rubber a bit?
Thoughts, comments, bullets..?

check out the auto parts store, get you some silicon lube in a spray can, that will fix it! just sprat a little along the rubber and your all set! i've got 5% in the front and 5% times@ in the rear and have ta spray every few weeks, good luck
Clean the windows first, No ammonia products. . . windex, lysol. . . ect. Use a soft terry cloth or microfiber towel (new old ones can hold dirt and scratch the tint) Stoners makes a descent window/glass cleaner. If you smoke clean the tint often, if you don't you'll be retinting like I have to this summer, my tint is badly scratch and I smoke a lot add that to the fact I never clean the inside of the windows.
Try that first and see what's up.

I'll also clean thoroughly with a microfiber towel... and some window cleaner first...
poop, I forgot about the silicon spray. lol I use lithium grease, gotta be careful when you spry lithium grase though it can stain but it lasts longer then silicon. Also it is white so it might not look pretty, personally I'm trying to go for a lo-key thing so I don't care. lol
