Question about Neon and cold Cathodes.....
Ok, here ismy stupid question of the day.
I have the OPTX neon underbody kit on my car (4 tubes), and i have 5 sets of cold cathodes on my interior (2-4" sets of 2 bulbs, 3-12" sets of 2 bulbs).
How long can i safely leave all of these on before i have to worry about not being able to start my car?

Hmmmm I bet until the battery has dropped to a voltage that will not longer turn the starter
How long is a good question depends on the battery and its condition. You can get something called a battery buddy that will monitor voltage and disconnect the battery when the voltage drops to a level where starting the car might be effected. Try Eastwood.com I think they list such a device. I should prolly get one myself for those days when we play the stereos and/or lighting at shows.

hmmm.. well just have to turn them on one day.. take a voltage meter and once you strat getting around 11.0 volts thats pretty low but should be able to start the car.. but no real way of telling u how long u can leave those on w/o testing like that.
