Default Rear Hatch/ liftgate replacement

I need to replace my 06 liftgate & glass, after a losing battle with a plastic mailbox..very expensive Xmas! After calling 60+ salvage yards all around New England, I have found an 04...but wonder if the keyless entry feature, or any other aspects of the older hatch will be a problem. I would appreciate any info/ advice on this costly repair (a new parts are about$900, before any paint or installations, a salvage 04 is about $500.)

Here is a link to all the Toyota shop repair manuals that are downloadable in case you decide to DIY
