Rear Wiper Hole
When removing the rear wiper completely what have you used to plug the hole? i thought i saw carbon fiber plugs a while back but i cant seem to find them now. if anything i could try home depot/lowes. just wondering what you have found to work best and look the cleanest.

Do what I did. Take the rubber that is in the hole already. Push most of the nipple back inside the hole. Take one of those chrome metal valve stems and insert it in the hole. Make a nut out of a plastic washer to hold it in the grommet. It looks like a rearveiw camera and is completely water tight. If you don't like the chrome, paint it first whatever color you want before you put it together.
i like my rear wiper... i dont think i could part with it just to gain looks... even though it misses a big patch every time and i find myself trying to time the washer fluid to try and hit the right spot on the wiper blade.... is this a common mod? i have never really noticed it on any modded cars.... hmm maybe i can part with it when it gets warmer... i wouldnt be able to see out the rear with out it during the winter seasons here in jersey...

IMO if your window is that dirty I'd just carry some papertowels and windex during the winter. I hate the fact that the wiper scratches the window and I didn't appreciate having to pay for something as useless as a rear wiper then have to figure a way of making it disappear. They should have made it a port installed option and make the people that wanted it pay for it.
dumb question....
rain-x on tints......specifically the back window. Should I not be doing this.
I have done it twice so far and works like a charm, but not sure if it will harm a tinted window. I know, I know, probably the dumbest question of the day.

Rain-X goes on the outside, tint is on the inside. Just keep
doing what your doing, just try and keep it off the paint!
I *love* Rain-X so much, I'd hit them up for a sponsor if
I'd ever do shows.

If you got your windows tinted and they put it on the
outside, I'd be worried about that shop! LOL

Anyhow-- he's right.. TINT on the inside, Rain-X on the OUTSIDE. Did ya read the directions? It says right on the Rain-x bottle to use it on the OUTSIDE.
And it's TINT, not TINTS. (also along the same lines... it's a film, not 'dem tint papers'). Yeah... it's minor, insignificant and unimportant - but if you heard the 1/2 million irritating misstatements a day - it'd grate on your nerves too.
