F that, that bug n tar remover by meguiuars left white residue over my grill and it left dull white(greyish) mess on my SW. I don't know what to do with it now. Was going to buy a clay bar.... but I saw it was by meguiars so I put it down......

Emblems, not Embels.

Heat will help, a lot. I used Goo Gone. It still took quite some time.

Must have been cold there!

Hotter it is, more adhesive comes off with the emblem. It was over 85 deg SoCal heat when mine came off. I used WD-40 on a soft cotton rag to remove the residue. It cuts road tar and emblem adhesive.

Disclaimer: Try it on a non conspicuous place first, YMMV. It did OK, mines PW.

i did mine at nite in about 40* w/ a hair dryer and floss, i removed the emblem ok, but left all the glue on as well. i got some all purpose solvent from work from the detail guys. w/ some heat it came off pretty good w/ a lil ghosting. immediatly follow w/ wax. the ghostin went away after a few washings and some more waxin that area.

the solvent also worked extremely well on window tint glue in conjuntion w/ a razor blade. it took me a total for 1 hour to remove the film and glue on both from windows

i used this real cheap sponge i got from pep boys, in a towel pack
ithas a mesh around the sponge,
rubbed, a little elbow grease, came right off, then i just re-waxed the area and now its clean,
wouldnt think something so cheap would do such a good job
