Scion logo side graphics
I am wanting to apply the Scion logo side graphics on my 2005 xB. Problem is, the oem graphics don't come in the color I want. I bought the oem graphics set in a maroonish brown color in hopes that I could have it reproduced in the color I want. Is it possible to give the graphics I have to a local shop and have them reproduce it exactly? Or even send them off somewhere to be made. Maybe some of the members here do that sort of work. Thanks.
P.S. The look I'm going for can be seen in the various brochures for the 1st gen xB. The picture is of a Black Cherry Pearl xB with the scion logo in a gold/bronze color. Scion never produced the logo in that particular color as per a corporate email I received some time ago.

What you need is the vector file for the logo, then they can input that into their plotter and cut you a logo out of the color vinyl you want. I'm not sure what format the shop will want/need it in, but this one will probably work. Best bet is to stick that file on a thumb drive and hit your local vinyl graphics shops with that, the logos you have and a picture of the color logo you want.

All good ideas above in this thread.... just want to toss one last thing in though...
If YOU re-create any image or text that is copyrighted material and ONLY use it for YOU, then that is legal.
However, if you ask a business to reproduce that same image, they must obtain permission from the person/company that holds the copyright or patten for that material before reproducing it. Since a business reproducing the object/image is a For Profit Organization.
If the material is a common logo, image, etc. chances are that the graphics company may already have legal permission on file to reproduce that specific image.
Hope that helps.
