Is there any particular brand of window tint that matches up exactly (or almost exactly) with the color of the factory tint?

 

I have my front windows tinted in medium including the front widshield (FULL FACE YEAH). Matching however was hard, becuase the tint was still darker than the factory tint. (3M tint BTW). Even the light tint was very light than the factory. So any way, I tinted the back door, rear quaters, and rear passengers doors w/ 5% limo tint. NOw it looks like a darker version of the factory style tint, only the rear is darker.

 

I've got nearly a perfect match using Formula One Pinnacle Series full ceramic film....35%, which is the darkest I can legally go in my area. But, the overall tone is spot on.

 

I heard the factory tint is 22%... read that here I believe.

35% is the limit here, but come spring, I'm going with 22% if the local shop can still get it.

 

I am using 35% on the front and i am going to put limo on the back windows....

 

My 20% matches very well.
